Mrs. Dolores “Pinky” M. (Farinha) Cook, 67 of Lowell, passed away peacefully on June 8th at Fairhaven Nursing Home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Lowell and had been an area resident all her life. She worked as an addiction counselor for many years and was an active member of AA. Mrs. Cook enjoyed helping people, loved to spend time with her family, and loved arts and crafts. She is pre-deceased by her husband Charles H. Cook Sr., daughter Kimberly Houston, son Teddy Cook, and brother Tiny Farinha. Mrs. Cook is survived by two daughters: Tara Cook of Lowell and Dannielle Ayotte of Lowell, two brothers: Pete Farinha and Tippy Farinha, two sisters: Jo-Ann Burns and Carol Balsamo, fifteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
