Maryellen Smith, 58, of Providence, formerly of South Boston, passed peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on June 7th, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.
She is the daughter of Doris Smith.
Maryellen was preceded in death by her father Robert Smith and her brothers Michael and Joseph Smith.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia Smith, Lisa Celestin, and Hollie Smith.
Loving grandmother of Christian, Nathan, A.J., Chloe, Xander, Nolan, Dante, and Leilani.
Caring sister of Robert, Edward and his wife Kathy, John, Louis and his wife Eileen, and Dennis and his wife Rhonda.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston,MA on Saturday, June 16th from 3-6pm.
