PILKINTON - Mary Addie Pilkinton, 82, of Fernandina Beach passed away Wednesday morning, May 30, 2018.
She was born September 7, 1935 in Baxley, GA and moved to Fernandina Beach after graduating from high school when she was 17 years old. She retired from Winn Dixie after 35 years of employment. During that time she worked in Callahan, Yulee and Fernandina Beach.
Mrs. Pilkinton was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to read her Bible every day and enjoyed the sunshine and being outdoors working in the yard.
She was predeceased by two sisters and a bother.
Survivors include her son, Michael Pilkinton of Fernandina Beach; her daughter, Machelle Palma (Mike Causey) of Bonaire, GA; two brothers, Dennis Stone and Charles Stone; five sisters, Dale Millwood, Linda Hutchinson, Kathy Pittman, Bonnie Spell and Barbara Aycock; two granddaughters, Summer Ward (Dustin) and Shelly Palma; two great grandchildren, Brantley Martin Ward and Brooklyn Pollard; and many nieces and nephews.
