BELMONT—Bronislaus J. ‘Barney’ Suslowicz, 97 years old, died Wednesday morning, November 16th, at the Belmont Manor Nursing Home, in Belmont.
He was born in Lowell, on July 31, 1908, a son of the late Sigmund and Rosalie (Waliczka) Suslowicz. He was a graduate of Lowell Public Schools.
Mr. Suslowicz served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had been employed as a Furniture Maker.
Surviving him is a sister: Frances Bee, of Cambridge; also several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Victoria Szurley, Stephanie Saniuk, and Edward Suslowicz.
Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 19th at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38), Lowell. His Funeral Mass to follow at 10 AM at the HOLY TRINITY POLISH CHURCH, High Street, Lowell. Burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell.
