Obituary

James Steven Ulanski, 55, of Franklin passed away at home on May 17.

Born in Flint Michigan, August 3, 1962, the son of the late Edward and Marian (Ill) Ulanski, he had been a resident of Franklin for the past 29 years. Jim had attended Powers Catholic High School and was a member of the class of 1980.

He also was an Alumnus of Ferris State University with a BS in Applied Biology, while there he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha.

Jim then obtained his certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. He had worked in various hospitals in the Boston area, most recently at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham.

Jim was a sports enthusiast his whole life, with his greatest interest being football.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life Suzanne M. (Jolley) Ulanski and his children Jessica DiCenso of Sterling, James Ulanski of Franklin and Caroline Ulanski of N.Y. City.

He is also survived by his siblings, Mik Ulanski-Stone of Flint, MI, Therese Ulanski of Austin, TX, Joseph and his wife Jeannie Ulanski of Flushing, MI, Thomas and his wife Kathryn Ulanski of Manton, MI., Elaine Shuster of Russellville, AR, and Diane and her husband Mike Moore of Clio, MI.

He was the brother of the late Robert and Sharon Ulanski.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, May 24 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
