Salvatore C. LaMonica, 0f Dedham, formerly of Boston’s West End, died Monday evening at Wingate Nursing Home, Brighton. He was 69.
Mr. LaMonica was born in Boston, the son of the late Joseph and the late Josephine (Fuggetta) LaMonica. A Dedham resident for over 41 years, Salvatore worked as a plasterer for many years before his retirement.
He was the beloved husband of the late Arlene P. (Sliby). He was a devoted father to Joanne Pinheiro and her husband William of Mansfield, Darlene Sullivan and her husband David of Norton. He was a loving grandfather to David, Jr., Matthew, Elizabeth, Brianne, and Christopher. He was a dear brother to Providenza Bramanti of Burlington, Liborio LaMonica of FL, Concetta Cassarino of Athol, Lucy Giliberto of Arlington, Joseph LaMonica of Boston, and Richard LaMonica of Tewksbury.
Relatives and friends may visit Thursday from 4 - 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, Friday at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
