Peabody: Denise M. Wensley age 21 of Peabody and formerly of Lynn died suddenly Sunday. She was the daughter of David A. and Janet M. (Gagne) Wensley of Peabody. Born in Newburyport and raised in Lynn she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School Class of 2002. A consistent Dean’s List student, she was currenly in her senior year at Salem State College. She has worked as a part time teller for Eastern Bank in the Lynnfield branch ever since her senior year of high school. Denise was a former cheerleader and loved dance and ballet. She also did volunteer work for My Brother’s Table in Lynn. She and her family moved to Peabody 2 weeks ago. In addition to her parents she is survived by 2 grandmothers: Jeannette Gagne of Salem, and Marjorie Wensley of Lynn, an aunt: Irene McNeill & her husband Steven of Moravia, NY, an uncle: James Wensley and his wife Cathy of Wakefield, 3 cousins: Robert, Andrew & Daniel Wensley. She was predeceased by her grandfathers: Joseph Gagne and Robert Wensley.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Thursday at 8 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem [Rt. 114 / 1-A] followed by her funeral mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, on the Salem/Peabody line at 9 am.
