Obituary

AUBURN____Vincent Byczko, 76, died Thursday, November 10 surrounded by his family.
He leaves his wife, Maria (Domaszewicz) Byczko; a son, Peter Byczko and his wife Lisa of Auburn; a daughter, Diane Horton and her husband Timothy of Natick; four grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Byczko of Auburn and Sophie and Max Horton of Natick; a brother, Richard Byczko of Webster; a niece Gosia Bartosiewicz and her husband John and their two children, Jasiu and Matthew. He was born in Poland, son of Francis and Helen (Roslik) Byczko.
Mr. Byczko was the former owner of Worcester Tire Company before retiring. He was a translator for the United States in Germany during World War II. He was an honorary member of the White Eagle Club and a member of the St. Mary’s Booster Club. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed soccer. He also enjoyed woodworking. Vincent loved his family and grandchildren and enjoyed being with them.
The funeral will be held on Monday, November 14, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours on Sunday November 13 are from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
