Obituary

Petrini, Richard F. Age 75, of West Roxbury, passed away on April 24, 2018. Beloved Husband of Kathryn A. (Wheeler) Petrini of West Roxbury and Dedicated father of Deborah A (Petrini) Campbell of San Diego, CA, Devoted Nonno of grandsons, Hunter and Andrew Campbell of San Diego, CA, Loving son of the late Francis D. Petrini. and Primina (Regis) Petrini of West Roxbury. Loving brother of Edward Petrini of Florida, Daniel Petrini of Laconia, NH, Doreen Wilson of Greensboro NC. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Richard was raised in West Roxbury; and ran a family delicatessen and catering business in the financial district of downtown Boston called D. Petrini & Co. He retired from this business in 1994 and became a DCR employee where he enjoyed working at the DCR Hyde Park Ice Rink and Swimming Pools and the Ponkapoag Golf Course in Canton. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3049 in West Roxbury. An Eagle Scout and a Scoutmaster, a member of the Holy Name Men’s Club and a member of the Parkway Croquet league. Richard was an avid reader, loved music and enjoyed traveling to San Diego with his wife Kathy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visiting hours will be held in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, on Sunday April 29, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in The Holy Name Church Monday April 30, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
