WEBSTER – Frances W. (Dudek) Dziembowski, 95, formerly of Granite St., died Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Webster Manor after an illness. Her husband, Edgar R. Dziembowski, died in 1984.
She leaves 2 daughters, Dorothy A. Fournier of Woodstock, CT and Shirley A. Ducharme of Killingly, CT; 3 sisters, Joan Costa and Sylvia Kozlowski, both of Webster, and Doris Magiera of Palmer; a brother, Sigmund Dudek in New Jersey; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was born in Dudley, the oldest of the 9 children of Zygmunt and Rose D. (Gwiazda) Dudek, and lived in Webster most of her life.
Mrs. Dziembowski was a stitcher first at American Woolen Company, then at Bentley Shoe Company, and then at Webster Shoe Company for many years, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of St. Joseph Basilica, its Holy Rosary Sodality and its Sacred Heart Society.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling hour will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Saturday, Nov. 12, in the funeral home. The family suggests donations be made to St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570
