Springfield – , age 38, passed away on April 9, 2018. He was born on Nov. 29, 1979 in Superior, Wisconsin, a son of the late Robert and Michelle (Hosmer) Schutta. Robert, or “Schutta” as he was often called, worked as a chef for a bakery for many years. He loved collectible special edition sneakers, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his funny, laid back personality and contagious laugh. He leaves his brother Shane Phillips a of Springfield; his “sister” Carrie Lincoln of Chicopee along with his beloved nephew and niece Zack Lincoln and Autumn Phillips. Calling hours will be held on Sat. April 14, 2018 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
