Janette M. Filosi, age 82, a life-long resident of Medford, passed away November 8th, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Arnold A. Filosi. Born in Medford she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Angelina (Santoro) Donadio.
Mrs. Filosi worked for many years. She was the New England Regional Manager for Wheatonware and also worked as the Regional Manager of Stanley Home Products. She retired from M.I.T. as a lab technician. Mrs. Filosi was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved being surrounded by her family. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
In addition to her beloved husband, She is survvied by her children, Vincent Filosi and his wife Jeanne of Palmetto, FL, and Janette Tognarelli and her husband Tuggy of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Mark and Scott Filosi, Brigette Borkowski, Dean and Kirk Tognarelli. She was the loving great grandmother of Zachary, Brandon, Tyler, Sarah, and Nicholas Filosi, Farrah Borkowski, Tyla and Hunter Tognarelli. She is further survived by her brother, Chester Donadio of Burlington, and sisters, Carmela Yebba of Chelsea, Marguerite Guerrera of Onset, and June Gold of Woburn.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 10 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 71 Warner St. Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will cocnlude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
