Gary Burton Springett, of Malden, passed away on March 26, 2018, at home after a long struggle with cancer.
Gary’s early education was in New York leading up to his enlistment in the United States Army. Gary received a certificate of appreciation, testimonial of esteem and gratitude for faithful performance of duty on the 1st of February 1970. Gary was honorably discharged for his honest and faithful service, August 9, 1973. Gary was a loyal employee for 35 years as a medical courier for Quest Diagnostics.
Gary was born in Sidney, NY on Nov. 22, 1946. Gary was the son of the late Georgia (Wilbur) and Lyle Springett. He leaves behind 2 children, and a sister Sherry Springett of NY, and his cousin and his wife , Alan and Karen Springett of NY, and their family, as well as a devoted and loving girlfriend, Lisa Boggia of Malden.
Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday March 31st from 11:00am-2:00pm. Funeral service and military honors will be held at 1:30pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
