Obituary

Kim Elizabeth Barboza-Paris, 38, of New Bedford died Saturday November 5, 2005 unexpectedly at home.

Born in Taunton, the daughter of Shirley (Cote) Lopes of Attleboro and the late Anthony Barboza, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Survivors include her mother; her adopted father, Frederick Lopes of Attleboro; four daughters, Toni-Lee Lopes, Julia DePina, Theresa Arnum and Tennille Barboza, all of New Bedford; a son, Raymond Sanchez of New Bedford; six sisters, Ann-Marie Barboza-Nelson of Taunton, Cyndee St. George of Attleboro, and Rhonda LaPointe, Sheila Barboza, Mia Correia and Serena Barboza, all of New Bedford; three brothers, Leonard Barboza of New Bedford, Anthony Barboza of Taunton and Troy Barboza of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the sister of the late Robert Langevin.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 3-7 PM, prior to the Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her family.
