WORCESTER____John F. Butkevitch, 82, formerly of 40 Belmont St., died Sunday November 6 in Radius Healthcare Center, 119 Providence St.
He leaves two sons, John P. Butkevitch of Rochester, N.Y., and Peter H. Butkevitch of Gloversville, N.Y., and six grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of Raphael A. and Pauline (Stalulonis) Butkevitch and was educated in Worcester schools.
Mr. Butkevitch was a truck driver many years for area companies before he retired in 1985. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 170. Mr. Butkevitch was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be held on Thursday November 10 with a service at 11 am. in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 am. Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma., 01701.
