Elvira C. Baunach, 89, of Londonderry, NH died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at the Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell, Mass. She was born in Newark, NJ on July 4, 1912, a daughter of the late George E. and Anna (Young) Kaas. She was a resident of Londonderry for the past 20 years, formerly living in New Jersey. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Fidelity Union Trust Co. in NJ, now known as Wachovia Bank. She was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry and was a member of the Londonderry Senior Citizens. She was the widow of Edward L. Baunach who died in 1977.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Warren (wife Lynne) Baunach of Harwich, Mass., two grandchildren, Mark and Dawn, and one niece, Mary Ellen Maffei and her family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18th at 10:00 at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry on Monday, June 17th from 6 – 8.
