Carl W. Burke, 17, of Chester, NH died Saturday November 5, 2005 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Carl was born in Exeter, NH on February 7, 1988. He had resided in Chester for the past six years, formerly living in Kingston, NH and was currently a senior at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH Class of 2006. Carl was an avid guitarist and had a love for any extreme sport. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, snow and water tubing. Carl’s ultimate pursuit in life was to attend college and one day operate his own business. This dream was fostered from his admiration of his dear friend and mentor, Robert Emerson. Carl was always surrounded by his many friends.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Debra (Donahue) Wright and William Wright of Chester, his father, James Burke of Carlsbad, NM, his grandfather, Walter Burke and his wife Judy of Atkinson, NH, his grandmother, Linda Queene and her husband Greg of Kingston, his grandfather, Kerry Donahue and his wife Linda of Windham, NH, three sisters, Christina Burke of Portland, ME, Karalyn Wright and Emily Wright, both of Chester, also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours were on Wednesday November 9th from 5 – 9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry with cremation following. The funeral service was private.
