Death Notice;

Borelli, Louis R. – of Haverhill formerly of Woburn, November 5, beloved husband of the late Lillian G. (Perry). Devoted father of Ronald Borelli of Haverhill. Loving grandfather of Ronald “Rick” Borelli of Boise, ID., Joseph Michael Borelli of Hudson, NH., and Audra Jean Woitkowski of Haverhill. Also survived by seven loving great grandchildren. Brother of Marion Gasdia of Maryland, the late Josephine Paige, Tano and Francis Borelli, and Victor Borelli Jr. Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Wednesday, November 9, at 9 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. Late US Army Veteran of World War II. Obituary;

Louis R. Borelli, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at Merrimac Valley Hospital, in Haverhill, on Saturday, November 5, he was the husband of the late Lillian G. (Perry).

Born and raised in Woburn he was the son of the late Theresa (Scelzi) and Victor Borelli Sr. he attended Woburn schools and later entered the US Army during World War II where he learned blacksmithing and welding.

After his discharge he worked in the dry cleaning and tailoring industry, Managing for Silverman´s and Anton´s dry cleaning in Woburn and surrounding communities. He was the former treasurer of the St. Anthony Club. Louis enjoyed being with his family and in particular with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he also enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving is his son Ronald of Haverhill, three grandchildren Ronald “Rick” Borelli of Boise, ID., Joseph Michael Borelli of Hudson, NH., and Audra Jean Woitkowski of Haverhill. Also seven loving great grandchildren and one sister Marion Gasdia of Maryland.

He was predeceased by a sister Josephine Paige, three brothers Tano and Francis Borelli and Victor Borelli Jr.

His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home. 60 Pleaasant St. Woburn on Wednesday, November 9, at 9 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 10. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
