
Howard B. Perry, age 90, of North Salem, New York, passed away
suddenly on March 3, 2018, following a brief illness. He was born on
September 8, 1927 in North Carolina. Howard is survived by his wife,
Shirley R. Perry and her two children, Carol Strauss and Mark Kramer,
Howard’s nephew, Dr. Malcolm Jeffrey Marcus and his wife, Judith
London Marcus from Florida and their four children, Michelle, Cherie,
Melanie and Marshall, Edward Perry, cousin and Myron Perry, cousin. He
was the son of Edythe Blumberg Perry and Nathan Bershad Perry,
deceased. Howard had two sisters, Patsy(Mattice) Perry Krueger and
Beatice Perry Marcus both deceased. Howard attended University of
North Carolina where he received his degree in Public Health. He was
longtime employee of IBM serving as an Environmental Scientist until
his retirement. Howard served in the Navy until August 16th 1946 and
U.S.Army until June 15th, 1953. Burial will take place on Friday, March
9th, 2018, at Sharon Gardens, Valhalla, NY and Rabbi Aaron Brusso will
officiate. Howard was a long time member of Bet Torah Synagogue in
Mt. Kisco, NY. Shiva will be observed on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 at
the family residence in North Salem, NY at 6:30 p.m.
