Deborah M. Babcock, 54, of Wakefield, NH and North Port, FL, formerly of Boston, died November 3, 2005, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was born in Boston and spent her entire career working in the investment business as a bond trader. She was employed by William F. Pollack Co., Hoenig Co., and most recently R. Sealhauss. An avid golfer, she was a member of Norfolk Golf Club in Westwood and Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, FL. She was admired by friends and family for her quick wit, intelligence, wonderful smile and infectious laugh. Her love of nature and wildlife was evident to all who knew her and some of her most cherished time was spent bass fishing at her beloved Pine River Pond in Wakefield NH. She is survived by her husband Jack Dahlstrom, a brother John J. Babcock of Waltham, her mother Josephine Babcock, and sister Elizabeth McCurley of Londonderry NH, a sister Veronica Crowley of Marlboro and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Tues. at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Mon. from 4-8 PM. Interment private.
