Obituary

Leonard Pihl of Medford died on Sunday, March 4, at Aberjona Nursing Center of Winchester. Raised in Arlington and Lexington, he was the son of the late Leonard W. and Marjorie (Thornrose) Pihl. Leonard worked as a bricklayer for 50 years. He was a quiet and intelligent man, loved travel, weekends on the Cape, and old cars.

Leonard was the beloved husband of the late Annette M. (McGonagle) Pihl, and the devoted father of Judine Pihl-Kravitz and her husband Bryan of Quincy. He was the dear brother of Shirley Coffill of Billerica and her late husband Robert, and brother-in-law of the late Sandra Piccolo, her surviving husband Al of Tewksbury, and Mary Orlandella and her husband Phillip of Saugus. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, March 9 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours Thursday, March 8, from 4 through 8 PM.
