John J. Ferrick of Reading passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at his home. He was 81 years of age.
Born in Reading, John was a lifelong resident of Reading. He was the beloved son of the late John J. Ferrick and Hannah (Bohane) Ferrick. John was a warm and caring son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
John was a dedicated construction worker. He was a World War II Veteran, receiving the Purple Heart for his efforts. He was a devoted member of the Disabled American Veterans Society. John was a HAM Operator. He also loved fishing and helping people with transportation.
John was the beloved father of Karen McCarthy of Tewksbury, the dear brother of Mary Carter and her husband Robert of Marblehead and Frances Sullivan of Andover. He was the devoted uncle of Robert and Alan Carter.
At the request of the family, all services were private.
