Homer S. Cusic, Jr., 71, of Rochester, MA died November 2, 2005 at Brigham & Women's Hospital after a prolonged battle with cancer.
He was the husband of Susan H. (Roland) Cusic.
Born in Branford, CT, the son of the late Homer S. and Edith (Mattson) Cusic, he lived in Brookfield, CT for 20 years before moving to Rochester, MA in 2004.
Mr. Cusic was formerly employed as a pilot with Trans World Airlines for over 25 years until his retirement.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Cusic served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Homer S. Cusic, III, and his partner Massimo Cipolloni, of Milan, Italy and Kirkpatrick Ryan Cusic, and his fiancée Jill Page, of Exeter, RI; a daughter, Cynthia Blair, and her husband Thomas E. McGivern, of New Milford, CT; 2 stepdaughters, Jill Elizabeth O'Neill, and her husband James F., of Foxboro, MA and Robin Sue Brace of Greenwich, CT; 2 grandchildren, Madeleine E. O'Neill and Colin J. O'Neill, both of Foxboro, MA.
His first Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 1 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett, MA.
His second Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 7th at 5 PM in the Brookfield Congregational Church, intersection of Rt. 25 and Rt. 133, Brookfield, CT.
