Louise M. (Gandolfo) Salamone, 64, died at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston on Wednesday, November 2 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Joseph A. Salamone. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of Msgr. Ryan Memorial High School in Dorchester. Mrs. Salamone was a resident of Stoughton for 32 years and also spent time at her home in Dennis for 22 years. She was owner of Craig Manufacturing in Stoughton with her husband for 20 years before retiring 3 years ago.
In addition to her husband Joe, Mrs. Salamone is survived by her son, Craig J. Salamone and his wife Cindy of Raynham and her grandchildren, Cole and Carly Salamone. She is also survived by many cousins and in-laws.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, November 4 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Dennis. Donations in Louise’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
