
Mary E. Reynolds, 66, of Hampstead, NH died peacefully Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Reynolds was born on July 1, 1939 in Woburn, MA daughter of the late Willard R. and Ann R. (Cassidy) Booker.
Mrs. Reynolds worked for the Raytheon Company of Waltham, MA before buying the Sanborn Shores Campground, Hampstead, in 1985. She and her husband owned the campground for the past 20 years. Some of her favorite pastimes included traveling, gambling, playing bingo and crocheting. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family and wintering in Florida.
She is survived by her seven children: Patricia Stone of Framingham, MA, Robert Reynolds of Billerica, MA, David Reynolds of Hampstead, NH, James Reynolds of Woburn, MA, Leo Reynolds, Jr. of Sandown, NH, Karen Reynolds of Tampa, FL, and Shannon Arbon of Manchester, NH. Mrs. Reynolds also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, her stepmother Veronica Booker and her stepsister Veronica Andrews, both of Woburn. She is predeceased by her brother, Charles T. Booker, and her husband, Leo F. Reynolds.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 5th at 9:00 AM at St. Anne Parish Church in Hampstead. Burial followed in the Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead. Friends called at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH on Friday from 5 – 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that charitable donations be made to the Derry-Salem Home Health and Hospice, 1E Commons Drive, Unit 31, Londonderry, NH 03053.
