Obituary

BROSSEAU- Of Chelsea, suddenly, June 13th, Edmund J., Sr. Devoted husband of the late Dorothy M. (Tryder). Beloved father of Eleanor Brosseau of Chelsea, Edmund J. "Ted" Brosseau, Jr. and his wife Susan of North Reading, Joann Brosseau, James Brosseau and Dorothy Kushmerek and her husband Dennis all of Chelsea. Loving brother of Thomas Brosseau, Jr. of Florida and the late Agnes Krzyzaniak, Eleanor Brosseau and Mary Collins. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Susan, James, Daniel, Michelle, Kimberley, Jaime, Dennis, Jr. and the late Donna Brosseau. Also lovingly survived by 14 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea of Tuesday morning, June 18th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Michaels Chapel on the Campus of the Chelsea Soldiers Home, 91 Crest Avenue, Chelsea at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 4-9 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Late Past Commander of the Chelsea American Legion Post #34, Member if good standing of the DAV, the Beachmont VFW Post, Governor Bellingham Cary House, Chelsea Historical Society and Holy Name Society of Saint Rose Parish. Co-founder of the Powder Horn Hill Citizens Organization. Edmund along with his late wife owned and operated Brosseau's Library Spa on Broadway Chelsea opposite St. Rose School. Late employee of the City of Chelsea for over 27 years retiring at the age of 65.
