Margaret M. (Perry) Landry, 87, of New Bedford died Sunday October 30, 2005 at New Bedford Health Care after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Landry.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mary S. (McGrath) Perry, she lived in New Bedford all of her life. She formerly resided on Campbell Street and at Whaler's Cove Assisted Living Facility, before moving to New Bedford Health Care nine months ago.
Mrs. Landry was formerly employed at Acushnet Company Golf Ball Division until her retirement.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Survivors include two nieces, Joanne Kowalczyk and her husband Robert of Dartmouth and Marilyn Bennett of Maine; and two nephews, Robert Geier of Acushnet and Michael Grace of Arizona.
She was the sister of the late Louise Geier and Florence Grace, and aunt of the late Betty Jenkins.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 4, 2005 at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday November 3, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9.
