Obituary

Roger A. "Fuzzy" Gillick, 73, of New Bedford died Tuesday November 1, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late George and Michalena (Rog) Gillick, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.

Mr. Gillick served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1961. During this period, he was stationed in Iceland, Okinawa, Japan, and at NATO Headquarters in Paris. He later was employed by the Raytheon Corporation, the Wamsutta Club, and Reliable Security Company until his retirement.

He was a graduate of New Bedford High School.

Survivors include two brothers, George E. Gillick of Dartmouth and Richard A. Gillick of Florida;

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Thursday November 3, 2005 from 3-6 PM. His Funeral and Burial with Military Honors in the Massachusetts National Cemetery will be private.
