Felix L. White, 85, of 38 Watch St., died Saturday, October 29 at
home following a long illness.
He was the husband of Irene (Marco) White who died in 1999. He leaves a son
Laurence R. and his wife Charlene White of Oxford, two daughters Nancy and
her husband Robert W. Krusas, Jr. of Spencer and Janice White of Rochdale
with whom he lived, two sisters Rita Provost of Auburn and Anna Wenc of
Ind., two brothers Clarence and Roger White of Millbury, four grand children
Melissa Nowak of Thompson, Ct., Lauren White of Oxford, Jessie and Joshua
White of Rochdale, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers
Ernest and Edward White and sisters Evelyn Stockwell and Alice Pierce.
Mr. White was a press brake operator at Simms Tractor Cab of Rutland for 20
years, retiring in 1983. He was an Army veteran of WWII with the 89th.
Cavalry. He was a member of the VFW Post 7556 in Rochdale, and St.
Aloysius-St. Jude Parish. He was an avid bowler playing in many area bowling
leagues. At onetime, Mr. White was a semi pro baseball pitcher. He was a
former Little League coach and was active in local Boy Scout activities.
Born in Millbury, he was the son of Felix and Alice White.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 3 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL
HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St.
Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial with Military Honors will
follow in St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday 5 to
