Richard C. LaFontaine age 56 of Salem, NH, died Monday at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Boston, MA, after being stricken with a heart attack.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 18 years, formerly of Lawrence, MA.
Mr. LaFontaine was a Maintenance Mechanic for Bagel Boy of Lawrence, MA. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. He enjoyed fishing and Lake Winnipesaukee, and loved spending time with his family. He was also a US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 at 10 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 from 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home
