Parkland, FL –Nora Pascarella, 93, loving wife of Nick Pascarella, entered into rest on Monday, January 8, 2018, heaven just gained another angel.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Platt’s Crawford Ave. Chapel with Rev. Chip Reeves officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Nora was Co-Founder and Treasurer of Western Sizzlin, along with her late husband, Nick. She was the epitome of class and will be remembered by all who knew her and loved her.
In addition to her husband, Nora was preceded in death by her parents; Willie and Stella Shamblin, two sons; Larry Schlagenhauser, Jonny McGriff, and daughter; Anna Marie Towne. Survivors include two sons; Jeff McGriff (Cheryl), Bill Blasio “McGriff”, daughter; Elizabeth Hoover, two brothers; Jennings Shamblin, Larry Shamlin, sister; Tillie Knight, granddaughter and beloved caregiver; Wanda Hyde (Virgil), many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be loved and missed by many.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
