Norman A. Robidoux, 77, of 29 Mill St. in the Rochdale section of
Leicester, died Friday , Oct. 28 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Joan M. (Volpicelli) Robidoux, two sons
David Robidoux and his wife Carol of Leicester and Neil Robidoux of
Worcester, a grandson Brian Robidoux of Leicester, a granddaughter Brandy
Robidoux of Worcester and a great-grandson Casey Robidoux of Leicester. He
was pre-deceased by a brother William Robidoux of Rochdale.
Mr. Robidoux was born in Worcester son of Alfred and Alice (Chouinard)
Robidoux. He owned and operated Norm's Drive Inn,a family restaurant in Leicester for 15 years
and also owned and operated Parkway Transmission, in Worcester for 25 years.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a
lifetime member of the American Legion post 0205 Rochdale and a member of
the Rochdale V.F.W. post 7556. He was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude
Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and working outside at
his home.
The funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 31 from MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL
HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St.
Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant Street, Leicester. Burial will be in
Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 30
from 2:00-4:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
