Shawn M. Walters, 25 of Derry, NH died Thursday October 27, 2005 in the Parkland Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Shawn was born in Miami, FL on November 15, 1979 a son of David R. Walters and the late Robin L. (Geas) Walters. Shawn had resided in Derry since 1993. Shawn was an avid NASCAR racing fan.
He is survived by his father, David R. Walters and his wife Christine of Derry, his maternal grandfather, John Geas of Derry, two step brothers, Aarron Medved and Joseph Medved both of Derry, three uncles, James Geas of Derry, John Geas of Mississippi, Kevin Walters of Keene, NH, four aunts, Jean Peters of Derry, Pauline Geas of Derry, Theresa Geas of Mississippi, Carrie Walters of Keene, several cousins. Shawn also leaves his girlfriend, Heather LaValley and her parents, Phillip and Bonnie LaValley all of Derry.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Thursday evening November 3rd at 7:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 11 Vanderbilt Ave., Suite 105, Norwood, MA 02062-5056.
