Pfc. William D. Guiod, United States Marine Corps, of Dedham, died suddenly at Camp Lejeune, NC on October 25, 2005. He was 25. Pfc. Guiod was born in Providence, RI and was the beloved son of Christopher and Martha (McLaughlin) Guiod. He was a life long resident of Dedham and a graduate of Dedham High School class of 1998.
He was the grandson of Daniel and Elizabeth (Glennon) Guiod of Marstons Mills and the late George and Doris (Dolan) McLaughlin. He was the brother of Christopher G. and James T. Guiod both of Dedham, and Danielle D. Guiod of Stoughton. Uncle of Damon O’Leary of Stoughton. Nephew of George McLaughlin and his wife Marjorie of West Newbury, Daniel J. Guiod and his wife Sherri of Belfast, ME, John Guiod and his wife Carolyn of Walpole, Martin Guiod of Reading and Master Sgt. Peter Guiod and his wife Toni of Greenfield.
Full Military Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 8:00 AM, funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Saturday from 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
