Mary Louise Cahill a longtime resident of Nantucket died on Tuesday October 25, 2005. She was 48 years old. Born in Needham Mary Lou attended Saint Bartholomew Elementary School, was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School in Pennsylvania and attended the University of Connecticut. A Nantucket scalloped, she also worked as a caretaker. Mary Lou was a friend to all she met. The beloved daughter of Claire (Cox) Cahill of Paoli PA and the late Joan (McGrath) and Richard H. Cahill, she was the sister of Kenneth R. Cahill and his wife Lori A. Bittner of Potomac MD, Kathleen M. Cahill and her husband Steven M. Allison of Needham and Timothy H. Cahill of Paoli PA. She was the aunt of Sean E. and Patrick B. Cahill and Nathaniel H. Allison. Mary Lou is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Bartholomew Church 1180 Greendale Ave Needham on Saturday October 29th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Needham.
