Obituary

Manuel DeAguiar, 77, died Wednesday, October 26, at his home in Stoughton. He was the husband of Theresa R. (Rodrigues) DeAguiar. Born in Madeira, Portugal, he was a resident of Stoughton since 1963. Mr. DeAguiar worked for American Bilt Rite for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, watching movies and television and music. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and a member of their Sunday Night Bible Study Group.

In addition to his wife Theresa, he is survived by his 4 daughters, Maria Rita DeAguiar, Judy F. Kelly, Ivone T. Mahan and Cecilia DeAguiar all of Stoughton and one son, Manuel DeAguiar Jr. of Brockton. He was the brother of Gilda Jardim of Stoughton and the late Joao Aguiar and Maria Inez Rodrigues. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, October 29 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
