Obituary

WORCESTER-Vincent M. Giaquinto, 78, of 1109 Millbury Street, died Tuesday, October 25th peacefully at home, with his family at his side. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Shirley A. (Gregory) Giaquinto, a son; Michael S. Giaquinto of Worcester, 4 daughters; Sandra L. wife of Elverton S. Bishop of Worcester, Rose A. Giaquinto of Worcester, Diane L. wife of Walter Puchta of Coventry, RI, Linda M. Giaquinto of Worcester, 2 brothers; Joseph and Anthony Giaquinto both of Worcester, 3 sisters; Lina Rams of Worcester, Dolores Wilgren of Millbury and Pam Pastale of Worcester, 3 grandchildren; Brian P. Laskowski, Anthony T. Giaquinto and Cindy M. Cunningham all of Worcester, 4 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. A son, James V. Giaquinto predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the son of Gioseppe and Julia (Pedone) Giaquinto. Mr. Giaquinto was employed by Standard Foundry as a chipper and molder for 20 years, until retiring. He also worked for Yellow Cab for 48 years. He enjoyed people and animals.

The funeral is Friday, October 28th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours are Thursday, October 27th from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
