Charlotte A. (Salerno) Castagnola “Mrs. C.” died October 24, 2005 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 70. Mrs. Castagnola was born in New York and was the daughter of the late Renato and Rose (Bottosto) Salerno. She was a graduate of Creighton University, class of 1956 and went on to receive her Masters at the Boston College School of Social Work. She lived in Dedham fpr 40 years and worked as an adjustment councilor at the Dedham Public Schools.
She was the wife of the late late Robert L. Castagnola.
She was the devoted mother of Raymond R. Castagnola of Cambridge, Robin R. Castagnola of Cleveland, OH, and Christopher R. Castagnola and his wife Martha Abdella of Dedham. Loving grandmother of Benjamin, Zachary and Charlotta Castagnola. Sister of Diane Schuyler of Albuquerque, NM.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Denis Church, Westwood, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Massachusetts national Cemetery, Bourne.
