Mildred G. (Rugg) Ferrera, of Winchester died Oct. 24th. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Howard S. and Wanda E. (Jaros) Rugg. She and her husband, the late Arthur R. Ferrera who passed away Sept. 30, 2005, made their home in Winchester since 1964. After retirement from a food industry career, Mildred and Arthur enjoyed many active years in the Winchester adult and church communities. Mildred volunteered in various organizations such as the Jenks Senior Center, St. Eulalia’s church and in the Hanscom AFB library. She was the loving mother of Kenneth G. Ferrera and his wife Kathleen of Westborough, MA and James H. Ferrera and his wife Diane of Dayton, MD. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristian G.and Danielle M. Ferrera both of Boca Raton, FL, Briana E. and Ryan E. Ferrera both of Dayton, MD. Her funeral will be held from the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Sat. Oct. 29th at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Eulalia’s Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
