Christian T. Tripp, 20, of Old Pocasset Road, Johnston, unexpectedly passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at his home. He was the son of Robert and Brenda (Noel) Tripp of Johnston.
Born in Providence, he had lived in Johnston for 16 years. Christian was a young man who loved life until mental illness took him away from us too soon. He had been enlisted in the Army until discharged due to an injury. He was getting ready to embark on the college journey to study computer science. Christian loved to play basketball, ride dirt bikes, hiking, fixing cars, and seeing new places with his family and friends. “Pork chop” we love you and you will be deeply missed.
Besides his parents he is survived by his siblings: Melissa Murillo of Coventry, Christopher Noel of Woonsocket, Robert E. Tripp, Jr. of Warwick, Jeffery Tripp of Cumberland, Leidy James of Johnston, Brendan Tripp of Webster, MA, Ryan Tripp of Johnston, Faith Tripp of Johnston and his nephew and 9 nieces. He was the grandson of Maurice Noel of Myrtle Beach, SC and Richard and Marillyn Tripp of Freetown, MA.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning 9am - 12 noon with a service at Noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Robert and Brenda Tripp.
