Helen B. (Murphy) Redmond of Arlington VT, formerly of Dedham, MA and Yarmouthport, MA, died October 23, 2005 in Bennington, VT. She was 85. Mrs. Redmond was born in Boston, MA and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Smallcomb) Murphy. She was a longtime Dedham, MA resident before moving to Vermont. She worked in the Customer Service Dept. for Eastco in Westwood, MA.
She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Redmond.
She was the beloved mother of Francis J. Redmond and his wife Maryal of Arlington, VT, Kenneth J. Redmond and his wife Carol of Wilmington, MA, and the late William R. and John T. Redmond. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Frances Madden of Wolfeboro, NH, Ruth Barrett of Osterville, MA, Francis Murphy of Turner falls, MA, and the late Frederick Murphy, Catherine Reagan, Marie Hennis, and John Murphy. She was the sister in law of the late Thomas G. Redmond.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, MA on Thursday at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, MA at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA.
