Larry L. Phillips, 57, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday December 21, 2017, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, December 23, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Harper Cemetery, in Coffee County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Phillips was born August 28, 1960, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Aubrey & Dorothy Baldree Phillips. He lived in the community all of his life and worked in shipping at MDI in Fitzgerald. Mr. Phillips enjoyed attending car races and flea markets as well as spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Phillips of Fitzgerald; a son, Jeremy & Rebecca Rowell of Nashville; a daughter, Kristi & Jesse Adkinson of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Cole Jenkins, Trey Jenkins, Sam Jenkins, McKinzlee Adkinson and Jesse Adkinson, Jr.; great grandchildren: Kinsey Jenkins and Ashton Jenkins; two sisters: Wanda & Ronnie McCurdy of Waterloo and Barbara & Randy Bryan of Waterloo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brody Adkinson.
