William C. Hoffman age 87 of Manchester, CT, died Monday at his home.
He was born in Schenectady, NY, grew up and was schooled in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School. He was a resident of Manchester, CT for over 50 years, formerly of Salem, NH
Mr. Hoffman was a retired welder and custom fabricator for National Welding in Newington, CT, where he worked for several years. During World War II, Mr. Hoffman worked on submarines for the US Navy. He loved golf and spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Beevers) Hoffman
He was also predeceased by 2 sisters Shirley Moore, and Ruth Patelle and a brother Jack Hoffman
He is survived by 1 Son: Stephen Hoffman of Los Gatos, CA
2 Sisters: Eileen Dubois of Salem, NH
Dorothy “Dot” Frederick of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be held Friday, October 28, 2005 from 9-11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery
