Mary D. Segnini
...Charter Member of Tewks-Wilm Emblem Club; 94
TEWKSBURY - Mary D. (Frediani) Segnini, age 94, died Sunday morning, October 23, at her
home. She was the wife of Antonio J. “Tony” Segnini for 75 years.
She was born in Lowell, July 11, 1911, the first-born daughter of the late David and Susan
(Barbieri) Frediani. She attended Lowell schools, but had lived in Tewksbury since 1950.
Mrs. Segnini was employed by Farnsworth Mills in Lowell for 30 years. After retirement, she was
the much loved cook for the children of Tewksbury Child Care Center.
Mrs. Segnini was a charter member of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Emblem Club, and a
parishioner of St. William’s Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Harold Barnard
of Raymond, NH, MaryAnn and Irving Storms of Tewksbury; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony
and Debbie Segnini of Chelmsford; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Barney Frediani of Dracut,
Buddy and Jean Frediani of Pepperell; two sisters-in-law, Sophie Frediani of Lowell, Olga
Frediani of Chelmsford; one brother-in-law, William “Benny” Agnatovech of Westford; six
grandchildren, Anthony Segnini of Dracut, David Segnini of Tewksbury, Gina Barnard-Lavoie of
Methuen, Jessica, Gregory, and Douglas Segnini all of Chelmsford; a great grandson, T.J. Segnini
of Dracut, and expecting the birth of her second great grandchild; and also many nieces and
nephews.
She was also sister of the late David Frediani, Camille Frediani, Albert Frediani, Jospehine Baroni,
Theresa Agnatovech, and Susan Fantini.
Her Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Oct. 26, in St. William’s Church,
Tewksbury. Interment was in Tewksbury
Cemetery. Memorials to the Tewks-Wilm Emblem Club, P.O. Box , Tewksbury, MA 01876 will
be appreciated.
