Obituary

WORCESTER-A. Mary (Denesha) Guerin, 84, of 10 Underwood Street, died Wednesday, June 12th at home after a long illness. Her husband, David J. Guerin died in 1987. She leaves 2 daughters, Patricia A. wife of Joseph O’Brien and Mary C. wife of Robert Crompton both of Worcester; a sister, Pauline wife of Michael Buzulis of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. 3 brothers and 4 sisters predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester daughter of Arthur and Mary (Hayes) Denesha and lived here all of her life. She graduated from Commerce High school in 1938 and was a graduate of life with highest honors. Mrs. Guerin worked as a senior clerk in probate court at the Worcester Court House for 20 years and was one of the founders of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She spent her summers by the shore in New Hampshire and devoted her life to her family and friends.

The funeral will be held Saturday, June 15th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a mass at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, June 14th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association, 1 Bromfield Street, Boston, MA, 02108 or The National Kidney Foundation of MA, 129 Morgan Drive, Norwood, MA, 02062 .
