Carole P. Sheehan, 64, of Chester, NH, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 in Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mrs. Sheehan was born in Salem, MA on October 27, 1940, a daughter of the late Fred and Thelma (Pierce) Varley. She had resided in Chester since 1977, formerly living in Salem, MA. She was employed as a school bus driver in Chester and Candia, NH for Laidlaw Transportation. She was a member of the Candia Congregational Church and was currently attending the (UCC) United Church of Christ studying to be a Christian education instructor. Mrs. Sheehan was a Justice of the Peace. She was a member of Alden Kindred of America, Duxbury, MA and was previously involved in many civic organizations.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Thomas J. Sheehan Sr. of Chester, NH, two daughters, Carrie Hadik & her husband Christopher of Chester, NH, Lynda Gayle Stanton & her husband Richard of Fletcher, OK, two sons, Mark Danskin & his wife Susan of Dracut, MA, Thomas J. Sheehan IV & his wife Caryn of Northwood, NH, eight grandchildren, her brother, Roland Varley of Revere, MA, also several nieces, cousins and many friends.
Following cremation, funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 11:00AM in the Candia Congregational Church, 182 High St., Candia. Graveside services were held at 2:00pm Wednesday in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH handled the arrangements.
