Obituary

FALL RIVER - Joseph Peter Wrobleski, 82, of 3200 County St., Somerset, MA, died Friday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Husband of Genevieve (Torres) Wrobleski. He is survived by: One Son: Mark Joseph Wrobleski of Tiverton, RI, Two Daughters: Virginia Creamer & Joanne Rapoza both of Somerset, MA, Four Grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Milton, John, and Walter Wrobleski, and Josephine Mello.

Born in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Michel Wrobleski and the late Emilia (Wrona) Wrobleski. He was a Somerset resident since 1999, previously residing in Fall River for many years. Before retiring, he was a Controller at Globe Mfg. for 26 years. After retirement, he worked part-time in Maintenance for Milliken Apts. He enjoyed traveling with Seniors from Somerset North Farm Estates. He was a member of St. Thomas More Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II with rank of Corporal. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, and the American Theater Campaign Ribbon.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Monday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, Luther Ave., Somerset, Ma. at 10:00 A.M. Internment in Nathan Slade Cemetery.
