Helen “Bonnie” Pendleton (nee Clark) died peacefully at Norton Hospital on November 21, 2017 in Louisville, Ky, at the age of 84..
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Glenn Pendleton; children, Donna McConnell, Drew Pendleton, Kelli Pendleton; grandchildren Josh McConnell, Colin Pendleton, Casey Pendleton, Dwight Pendleton, Myka Pendleton, and Maxx Pendleton; great grandson, Hunter McConnell. She is preceded in death by her mother, Essie Clark, son, Glenn F. Pendleton, and grandson, Luke Pendleton.
Bonnie was born on May 4, 1933 in Louisville, Ky. She graduated from the first coed class of duPont Manual High School in 1951. She was an accomplished dancer who performed with the USO for the troops at Fort Knox. She married Glenn in Whitesville, Ky, in 1952.
A memorial is scheduled for Thursday, November 30, from 4 to 8pm, at Owen Funeral Home in Jeffersontown, Ky.
