Edith R. (Copper) Faucher, 77, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John O. Faucher, Sr.; a son, Michael F. Faucher of Sutton; a daughter, Mary Ann Faucher of Arlington, TX; a brother, Arthur Copper of Oxford; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sons, John O. Faucher, Jr., and Arthur Faucher, and a sister, Marie Copper.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Mary (Torone) Copper and graduated from Commerce High School in 1946. She was a member of St. Mary of the Hills Parish, the Boylston Council on Aging, and the Boylston Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., Oct. 22, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary of the Hills Parish, 630 Cross Street. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, Oct. 21, from 4-7 p.m., at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UMass Memorial Foundation, Hospice, PO Box 2795, Worcester, MA 01613-9938.
