Ahmed “Steve” Shahbazi, 57, died Wed., Oct. 19, 2005 in UMass Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan A. (Guinee) Shahbazi; a son, Ramin and his wife Lisa of Marlboro, 2 daughters, Raina M. and her husband Thomas E. Yeulenski, Jr., of Franklin, and Sara L. Shahbazi of Worcester; a granddaughter, Aleah Shahbazi; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Ahmed was born in Tehran, Iran, son of Manoff and Mehri Shahbazi. He graduated from WPI with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a self-employed painting contractor and an avid fisherman.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, from 3-5 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
